Build-a-Boat | EBS | October 15, 2025

 

The kids in this lab designed and built a boat out of popsicle sticks, aluminum foil, tape, and hot glue. To create a boat capable of floating in water and then being tested by adding small amounts of coins. 

Ooblec Slime | EBS | October 22, 2025

 

Here, the kids combined water, cornstarch, and good coloring. All of this combined developed colorful oobleck. Oobleck is a unique type of matter that is soft when handled carefully and turns hard when hit with a lot of force.​

Lava Lamp | EBS | October 29, 2025

 

Water, vegetable oil, food coloring, and a glass jar. All of this combines to make an easy-to-make homemade lava lamp. These kids made unique colors that made each lava lamp special for each special kid.
